48th SIDO International Congress

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

From 19^th to 21^st October for the 48° International Congress will be hosted in the Auditorium “Music Park” of Rome, in the heart of my City and Our Country cultural activities.

On Thursday the 19^th, the meeting will be opened by pre-congress courses for the continuing education, providing many useful clinical tips for our daily practice.
In the same day, hands-on Typodont courses will be reserved for younger clinicians (Alexander discipline, Giannelly technique, Tweed philosophy).

On Friday the 20^th, one of the most debated topic in literature, “Mandibular Deficiency in Class II malocclusion”, will be discussed from functional approach to biomechanics excellence. Worldwide experts will lecture on this still controversial topic.
Furthermore, the SIDO will host two side events, in order to offer an educational opportunity on very interesting and current topics to all members: digital innovation (Digital Dentistry Society) and TMJ disorders (SIDA).

On Saturday the 21^st, we will focus on Facial Asymmetries. Speakers will discuss different aspects of asymmetry ranging from diagnosis to treatment.

Two more side events have been scheduled on Breathing Sleep Disorders (SIMSO society) and finally the IBO course to promote excellence in Orthodontics.
As every year, the session for Lab Technicians managed by the OR-TEC has been planned on Friday afternoon, in cooperation with the other associations AIOT, GTO, Leolab–Tecnica Ortodontica, and on Saturday morning with the annual appointment.

Finally, we will have the opportunity to investigate two key points for the management and organisation of the dental office: the 8 golden rules to reach a professional success, with team building involving Orthodontists, dental Hygienists, and technicians.
