Dental illustration course
Goals :
- Discover the full potential of software and digital tools
- Make it accessible whatever the starting level
- Many practical exercises. All training is based on manipulation, very few classes, lots of practice.
- Training in “technical shadowing”
- First day dedicated to getting to grips with the software
- Second day creating a unique work
Necessary equipment brought by participants:
An iPad Pro either 11 inches or 12.9 inches (https://www.apple.com/fr/ipad-...)
A first or second generation Apple Pencil depending on the iPad (https://www.apple.com/fr/apple...)
Charging cable
A cover or support to hold the iPad slightly tilted (example: Symmetry 360 elite series Otterbox case)

NB: The bi-digital graphic designer glove will be offered to each participant
Recommendations for participants:
Stick a colorful sticker on your iPad cover to differentiate it
Choose an original wallpaper
Customize your Apple Pencil to recognize it (elastic, ring, sticker, etc.)
Ensure the hardware is loaded and the software is correctly installed.
Have at least 5 GB free on the iPad.
Bring photos that could serve as a working basis for creations
Have thought about creative ideas in advance.
Day 1 :
Morning: Discover
Intro: presentation, objectives, round table…
Module 1: Discovery and familiarization
Introduction to medical and dental drawing. Find your style, find an idea, train, get inspired, don’t get discouraged, start simple
Knowing how to get inspired, find ideas, photos, plaster models, internet books, social networks… (the devil is in the details)
Overview of useful equipment and applications (Ipad, Apple Pencil, folder, wetransfet, iCloud backup, etc.)
Create a document and organize your documents

Using the Apple Pencil and Fingers
The notion of strategy and library.
Protect your creations or documents (signature and watermark)
Module 2: Basic tools
Creating simple shapes and choosing a color
