Biographie

Dr. Vladimir Garci­a Lozada is graduated in Dentistry, Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Implantology internationally in many programs of Universities and Hospitals obtaining his specialist, fellowship, diplomate, certificate and Master degrees. He went through a residency programme in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Brazil, and he qualified for the degree Doctor of Philosophy in Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology PhD programme at the Cambridge International University. His research interests and clinical activity include the techniques for the treatment of severe atrophies of the jaws with special focus in complex cases using zygomatic and pterygoid implants, full arch implant rehabilitations, immediate loading protocols, bone augmentations procedures and  new technologies with Cad Cam 3D printing medical devices in the field of maxillofacial applications.

Lecturer of different Universities Programs in oral implantology as in training courses, webinars and conferences in implant dentistry, as well as international Speaker, Consultant and Mentor.

Dr. Vladimir Garcia Lozada is Expert Faculty of DentalXP, BeIDE(bedentalexperts), Knotgroup dental institute, Inspira dental, Oralsurgerytube, online dental global platforms education.

He is author of several articles in national and international journals, and is a member of various scientific societies: International Team for Implantology (ITI), International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS), Spanish Society of Oral Surgery (SECIB), Spanish Society of Implants (SEI), International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), European Association for Osseointegration (EAO).

  • <p>Overview:<br><br>Aimed at professionals interested in these advanced implantology techniques for the treatment of complex patients. The main purpose of this course is for the professional to know and be able to plan the treatment of patients with severe maxillary atrophy who can not be treated with conventional implants. To this end, the technique of zygomatic implants and pterygoid implants will be studied. In addition, the technique of mandibular ramus grafts to correct alveolar defects, from simple to complex 3D, according to the technique of Pr F.Khoury, will be discussed. Both techniques will be performed on cryo-preserved cadaver heads, which gives realism to this form of training.<br><br>Course Objectives<br><br>To know the indications for zygomatic and pterygoid implants. Prosthodontic preparation of cases.<br>Study and prevention of complications of the zygomatic/pterygoid implant technique. Essential knowledge of the surgical instruments used in the different techniques.<br>Placement of zygomatic and pterygoid implants in stereolithographic models and in cryopreserved cadaver heads.
