Dr Volcker VON BAER

Volker von Baehr was born in 1969. He studied medicine at the Humboldt-University Berlin from 1990 till 1996 and is today a Medical Doctor in Laboratory Medicine in Berlin, Germany. After Studiem he worked as a post doc works at the Institute for Medical Immunology, Charité, Berlin (196-98) and in Bieger Laboratories, Dept. Immunology in Munich (1998 – 2001). Since 2002 he is the director of the Department of Immunology and Allergy at the Institute for Medical Diagnostics, Berlin. Volker von Baehr main research areas are Biocompatibility of implant materials and Laboratory diagnostics of metal allergies and immune deficiencies diseases. Volker von Baehr is an active member of the German Association of Umwelt-ZahnMedizin and of the German Association of Environmental Medicine.
