Biographie
Prof Alessandro Pozzi has been in practice since 1997. Adjunct Associate Professor at Goldstein Center for Esthetics and Implant Dentistry, Augusta University USA. Clinical Researcher in Surgical navigation and Advanced Dental Technologies of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Qualified as full Professor by Italian Ministry of University, Education and Research. Researcher and scientist, widely published, he was awarded the 2013 Judson C. Hickey Scientific Writing Award from the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and in the 2021 he received the Best Original Paper Award by the Japanese Society of Prosthodontics. In 2020, he was entitled with the prestigious Fellowship status of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) for his commitment to the field of Osseointegration. In the 2023 he achieved the Dual-Specialist Diploma of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) in Surgical and Prosthetic Implant Dentistry. Co-Editor with PK Moy and John Beumer of textbook Fundamentals of Implant Dentistry, Quintessence Publisher. Editorial Board Member of International Journal Oral Implantology (IJOI), Journal Esthetic Restorative Dentistry (JERD) and International journal oral maxillofacial implants (IJOMI). Active member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED). Besides lecturing internationally in the most prestigious congresses and academies, He holds training courses in his International Center for Oral Rehabilitation based in Rome Italy, with emphasis on guided and navigation-assisted implant-surgery and digitally assisted immediate function and esthetics.
