Pr Zvi ARTZI

Zvi Artzi is a Professor and the Director of the Graduate program in Periodontology at Tel Aviv University, Israel. Zvi is a member of the Executive Board of the School of Dental Medicine and at the Board of Governors of the University, and also the Chairman of the Periodontal Committee of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Health in Israel. Zvi is an active member of the AO, EAO (European association of Osseointegration), EFP (European Federation of Periodontology), IADR and the past-president of the Israel Periodontal and Osseointegration Society. Zvi is the Israeli ambassador of the AO and a member of the Osseointegration Foundation research grant committee. Zvi has published over 100 articles and research abstracts in peer-reviewed leading journals in Periodontology and Oral Implantology. His current main research topics are related to the quality of regeneration and osseointegration, the evidence-based efficacy of different grafting biomaterials and advancing surgical modalities.
